Will Rogers State Beach

Will Rogers State Beach Park is a beach park at the Santa Monica Bay, at the Pacific coast of California. What makes this beach very popular is that the famous show Baywatch was shot here before they moved the shooting location to Hawaii. Likewise, the beach has featured in many other TV shows and movies as well owing to its scenic locations and beautiful landscapes. The beach is very popular among the LGBT community and is considered as the unofficial gay beach of Los Angeles and is often referred to as Gingers Rogers Beach. The Will Rogers State Historic Park was founded on the grounds of the ranch owned by Will Rogers in 1944. The ranch, owned by the once famous Hollywood star of the 1930s, has a 31 room mansion amongst the sprawling 186 acre property in the Pacific Palisades.
