Manori Beach
Manori is a small fishing village which lies in the northern part of Mumbai, famous for its beach and Manori creek. Also known as 'Mini-Goa', Manori is known for the beach-side shacks that serve authentic seafood. There is a ferry ride which goes to Malad Marve to and fro in 5 minutes.
Visited by the convoy of weekenders from Mumbai, Manori beach is usually crowded. Manori is home to two resorts designed as Spanish Villas and several other hotels and accommodation facilities. Manori is also famous among cyclists, due to its beautiful surroundings and minimal traffic. The beach is covered with cashew nut trees and greenery, and rocky hillocks at the beach are the ideal location to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Nath Sampradaya Ashrams
The two beautiful ashrams of Nath Sampradaya are led by Swami Gagangiri Maharaj and his disciple Swami Gagananand Maharaj in Manori.
One can easily find most of the visitors heading towards these ashrams for meditation getaways surrounded by an environment that has no noise except the rustle of the leaves and sounds of birds that themselves stay away from the city.
Samudreshwar Temple
Samudreshwar temple is a Hindu place of worship dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva. Samudreshwar means Lord of the seas. This is quite a small temple right at the entrance of the Marve-Manori jetty on Manori beach.
The style of architecture is typical of the Koli style - the people of Maharashtra, and its surroundings are filled with Cashew trees that are kept clean and well maintained.

The amount of churches that dot Manori is all to be named for as to why this little paradise is called 'Mini Goa'. Most of these beach islands are home to the Catholic Christian locales owing to beautiful churches, small, but unique in their little ways.
The most sought after one here is the old Portuguese church, with its typical architecture like those found so very much in Goa. Its undisturbed courtyard makes pit a perfect place to sit and go about day dreaming.
