Panchamukhi Anjaneya Temple
Located at a distance of 20 km from Mantralayam in Panchamukhi in Karnataka, Panchamukhi Anjaneya Temple is a revered Hindu temple based on the scenic banks of River Tungabhadra.
Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple holds immense religious importance as it is believed to be the place where Raghavendra Swamy meditated for 12 straight years before settling in Mantralaya. After his meditation, four Hindu gods - Panchamukha Anjaneya, Kolhapur Mahalakshmi, Lord Venkateswara and Lord Vishnu as Varaha - appeared before Raghavendra Swamy, at this spot. The highlight of the place is the huge idol of Lord Hanuman incarnated on a huge rock. Besides, the five-headed Anjaneya temple is perched on a hillock which provides beauteous views of the valley below. Aside from the refreshment stalls and tea sellers, there is also a magnificent rock formation in the form of a bed and a pillow that attracts tourist influx as well.

Raghavendra Swami Temple
Raghavendra Swami Temple or the 'mutt' as it is known houses a vrindavana where Guru Raghavendra Swami is believed to have been residing since 350 years and would do so for 350 more years.
The shrine of Manchalamma is next to it, both lying near the Tungabhadra river. The temple is open all day however the best time to visit is in the evening as post the aarti at 7 pm, there is a rathothsavam where several chariots are drawn from the temple carrying the deity followed by worshipers chanting away. After the darshan of the deity, you can quietly move around the sanctum taking in all the peace from its surroundings Apart from this temple, other places that could be visited are the Panchamuki Anjaneya Temple, Lakshmivenkatesvara Temple and the Vedic Pathashala
