The largest dry fish market of Asia is situated at Jagiroad in Marigaon District. One can find there the variety of freshwater and sea fish that were mainly brought to the place from states like Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Bihar. The fish from this market is then further supplied to the states of Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. Sitajakhala

Sitajakhala is a famous ancient temple discovered during the last year of the fourth decade of last century. Nestled on the banks of River Killing, the temple is adorned with many idols of Goddess Sita and Lord Hanuman. As per the popular myth, Valmiki built the stone steps for Goddess Sita, going up to River Killing for her convenience. Hence, the steps were named Sita Jakhala.

Sivakunda

Sivakund is a spellbinding waterfall serving as a popular picnic spot of Marigaon attracting many tourists. Located in Amsoi Hills in the proximity of National highway 37, the place is best explored between the months of October and March.
