Mokuleia Bay Beach
Slaughterhouse Beach, also otherwise known as Mokule’ia Bay, is situated in the same preserve where Honolua Bay sits. The preserve is called Honolua-Mokule’ia Bay Marine Life Conservation District. Although the neighboring Honolua Bay is rocky in most parts, Mokule’ia Bay offers a sandy beach where visitors can spend time relaxing.
The name of the beach, Slaughterhouse Beach, got its name after the slaughterhouse that was once functioning in the area. Mokule’ia is a Hawaiian name that means the district of abundance, and just like several other Hawaiian names, this beach fits the meaning just right. This lovely beach is great for snorkeling especially during summer, whereas in the winter, the water gets too rough.

Molokai
Molokai is one of the most culturally significant islands in Maui and is known to be the island where the tradition of hula was born in Hawaii. While the tourism industry in Molokai might be dwarfed by the larger and more extravagant Hawaiian destinations, Molokai is especially renowned for the natural beauty of its surroundings. Tourism development has been slowed down to preserve the natural state of the island.
Napili Plaza
One of its kinds and unique from the rest, Napili Plaza is located just 5 minutes far from Kapalua. It is a recently renovated shopping centre with more than 15 local merchants with a variety of products to offer. Some of the usually preferred merchants here are Blue Maui Clothing, Elua Nani, and Napili Market.
Nemo Falls
Nemo Falls is a hidden gem and one of the lesser-known waterfalls in Maui, Hawaii. Situated in Ko’olau Forest Reserve, visitors must take a hike through the forest reserve where they must cross a narrow bridge. But the hike would seem worthwhile when one gets to witness the multi-tiered waterfalls and a swimming pool.
While taking a hike, one must be aware of the final access to the waterfalls as the pathway gets steeper and upstream to a few 100 yards with slippery rocks not making the hike any easier. For those interested to visit the falls, they must make sure to check the EMI page and read the information and instructions before trying to find the falls all by themselves.
