Jungle Island

Across the vast stretch of 270 acres, the Larry and Penny Thompson Memorial Park and Campground is one of a kind in Southwest Miami Dade, stationed just beside the popularly visited Miami Zoo. Nestled in Coconut Grove corridor of Village West in Miami, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church is the most ancient African American Baptist Church. The church equips a Sunday school which is one of the most popular parts of the church where they accept Jesus as a saviour. The church was named as St. Agnes Baptist Church at first which was later renamed as Macedonia in 1922.
