Ban Gioc Waterfall
Ban Gioc Waterfall is one of Vietnam’s most impressive sights. It is the highest waterfall in the country.
The Ban Gioc waterfall is 30 meter high, 300 meter wide and is located on the Quay Son River. The waterfall is pristine and untouched by tourist masses. The beautiful jade blue water of the falls flows through a pastoral landscape of rice fields and bamboo groves surrounded by limestone pinnacles. The surrounding area is full of farms and fields that make you feel as though you have stepped back in time. The falls are one of the most spectacular sights and definitely worth a visit.

Hang Coc Bo
The Hang Coc Bo cave and surrounding area is considered sacred ground with respect to the Vietnamese revolution.
The Coc Bo Cave is where Ho Chi Minh took shelter in after re-entering Vietnam in January 1941. It was one of the most remote parts of the country, 3 km from the Chinese border. The cave is set amidst limestone mountains and evergreen forests filled with a variety of flora and fauna. During his short-lived stay in the cave, Ho Chi Minh spent his time writing poetry and translating texts of Karl Marx. The cave acts an important tourist destination. A narrow stone paths leads upto it, after which you are allowed to enter the mouth of the cave but not traverse past the entrance.
