The Hang Coc Bo cave and surrounding area is considered sacred ground with respect to the Vietnamese revolution. The Coc Bo Cave is where Ho Chi Minh took shelter in after re-entering Vietnam in January 1941. It was one of the most remote parts of the country, 3 km from the Chinese border.
