Anamudi Peak
Often called the pride of Kerala, Anamudi or Anai Mudi Peak in Munnar stands at a magnificent height of 2695 metres above sea level. Literally meaning “Elephants forehead,” the peak is well known to be the home for the largest surviving population of Asian elephants in India. The peak itself is within the boundaries of the Eravikulam National Park, offering plenty of opportunities to explore to flora and fauna of the surroundings.
A famous trekking destination in Munnar, the Anamudi peak is considered to be the tallest peak outside of the Himalayas and in the Western Ghats of the South as well as the greatest topographic isolation in India. It is also famous for the Neela Kurinji flower which is known to blossom only once every 12 years.

Anayirankal Dam
The Anayirankal Dam is located right in between a verdant carpet of tea plantations and a thicket of evergreen forests. It is one of the largest earthen dams and was completed in the 1960s. It is also one of the earliest dams made with concrete.
Atukkad Waterfalls
Nestled 2 km away from Munnar amidst beautiful hills and lush green jungles, this pristine waterfall makes for romantic escapades and picnics site. However, the road to Atukkad is very narrow and needs a lot of experience to drive on. The pool formed at the base of the waterfall is suitable for taking a dip!
Blossom Park
Blossom Park is a splendid park located about three kilometres from the beautiful town of Munnar. It is located near the Pallivasal Hydro-electric project, near River Muthirappuzha and amidst the mesmerising Kanan Devan Hill Tea Estates. The park expands over an area of 16 acres and is home to a variety of flowering plants.
The beautiful park attracts tourists from all over the world with natural and seasonal flora. One may explore amidst the lush greenery in and around the park, click loads of pictures or indulge in one or more of the recreational and adventure activities like bird-watching, cycling, boating, trekking etc.The park consists of a vast expanse of gardens and lawns with a variety of flora. There are also tree houses, ropeway and artificial waterfalls to kindle yours and your kid's adventure fantasies. Because of the greenery, the park stays cool even during noontime. A flower show is arranged every year at Blossom Park to display a variety of fragrant and colourful flowers.

Cheeyappara Waterfalls
Located on the Kochi-Madurai Highway (National Highway 49), the Cheeyarappa Falls is an on-the-way tourist attraction. It falls between Munnar and Kochi, in the district of Idukki, Kerala. One of the largest waterfalls in the state (which is also known as God's own country), the Cheyyappara Falls are a sight to behold.
Cascading through seven tiers of stones, these falls are a force of nature that you can not only see and experience but dip your toes into and enjoy. The surroundings of the waterfall complement its opulent natural splendour. Evergreen forests stretch out for as much as two acres around the falls, making it an active adventure and trekking spot. Several species of exotic plants and animals can be found in the neighbouring area, enclosed in the casket of a dense forest.

Chinnakanal Waterfalls
Flowing from a height of 800 m, Chinnakanal Waterfalls also known as powerhouse waterfall is a sight of sheer beauty. These falls lay just 16 km away from Munnar. The waterfalls originate from Devikulam Hills and end at a natural pool below it where people can spend some time.
Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary
The Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Western Ghats and is a part of the Idukki District. Spread over an area of 90.44 km², This region is richly populated with a wide array of indigenous flora and fauna which makes it a popular tourist destination. Chinnar houses a myriad variety of medicinal plants, and as the home to start tortoise.
Its animal population includes species such as grizzled giant squirrel, gaur, spotted deer, tufted grey langur, slender loris, crocodile, wild elephant, tiger, leopard and many birds. Since it is a government-protected enclosure, you can experience flora and fauna in its natural habitat, uninterrupted by the clamour of the city. The mixed deciduous forests found here are ideal for some rudimentary trekking as well.

Situated 10 km off Munnar, Chithirapuram is a place famous for its rustic environ and old world charm. It also houses old playgrounds and courts, bungalows, sleepy little cottages and tea plantations adding to the charm of the village.
Chokramudi Peak
Located in the Eravikulam National Park at an altitude of 7200 feet, Chokramudi Peak is one of the highest peaks in Munnar. It is quite isolated from the range but provides a fabulous view of the surrounding valleys & mountains covered with stunning dense forestation and the lush green tea plantations. One can also get a beautiful view of the Idukki Dam located nearby.
CSI Christ Church
CSI Christ Church is over a century old church famous for its religious & historic significance and its gothic style architecture. The church was built in the memory of the beloved wife of Henry Knight, Ilianor Knight, in the early 1900s. The site also served as a cemetery for the British Planters. The structure is made of granite and is adorned with beautiful stained glass work and brass plaques.
