Churdhar Peak
A treat for trekking and rock climbing buffs, Churdhar Peak at a height of 3650 m above sea level is a 50km trek. Covered with verdant forests and fields, one can approach this peak from Dadahu, Sangrah, Bhawal, Gandhuri and Nauhra.
After a taxing trip to the peak, the reward is spectacular view of the landscape which is simple breath taking.
Dhaula Kuan
This spot has a lot of appeal attached to it. One of the major tourist attractions, Dhaula Kuan is packed with numerous orchards housing plants of citrus fruits and mango trees.
A fruit canning factory can also be spotted there producing various fruit products like jams, pickles, juices and canned fruits. Apart from sprawling orchards, you will also find a Kastasan Devi temple at some distance. This temple, built by Raja Jagat Singh who defeated the army of Rustam Qadir Rohilla, represents the victory in the battle.

Jaggannath Temple
One of a major attraction of the town, Jagannath Temple was built by Raja Budh Prakash in the year 1681. Dedicated to Lord Neel Madhav, this temple is constructed on the same line of architecture of original Puri Temple.
Jaitak Fort
Built by Gurkha leader Ranjor Singh Thapa in 1810, this fort is situated on the top of Jaitak Hills. Constructed using the material recovered from the Nahan fort after it was ransacked and destroyed. It is situated at a distance of 25 km from Nahan.
Jamu Peak
Another famous attraction of the town, this peak offers a splendid view of Renuka Lake from the top. Located almost 8 km from the lake, the peak houses a small temple where it is believed that sage Jamadagni meditated.
Kangojodi
Kangojodi is an offbeat destination nestled in the Himachal mountains lined with pine trees, surrounded by majestic hills and ravines. The place hasn’t been popularised yet and sees considerably lower volumes of tourists compared to its overcrowded counterparts. The place is great for a natural retreat away from the hustle bustle of the concrete jungles we have grown accustomed to, it also houses a great camping site with a myriad of offerings like adventure sports, trekking or just some quiet time to yourself.
