Basudeb Devalay is temple with a very fascinating story attached to it. It was built during the years 1718-1744 AD under the rule of Ahom King Sib Singha. As per the legend, once fishing net of fisherman fishing in the pond got stuck there for seven days. On the seventh day a local had dream of God Basudeb wishing to be relieved from the fishing net. When the news of dream reached King Sib Singha, he immediately tried to remove the two stones on the spot. However, in case of failing attempt, the king decided to build a temple there. Billeshwar Temple is an ancient temple with an interesting past of 500 years. Located at Belsor Village near Nalbari, the temple is devoted to Lord Krishna, although it is believed that a Shiva Linga was found on the same spot. As per the legend, once a cow owned by the priest refused to be milked. The following day, the priest found out that the cow gave her milk to a bush of Virina. When the case came in the notice of the king, he made that place dug up and found a Shiva Linga there. The Buddhist Temple is situated in Bangnabari Village, approximately 30 km from Nalbari and1 km away from Mushalpur Chowk. The temple was built 60 years ago by Nepali people. The temple is known as Sangdo Palgi Gumba and was initiated by Chhatra Singh in the year of 1965. He also constructed a new Gumba for the temple in the year of 1970 - 1971.
