Cedar Forest of Alyko

Eggares Olive Oil Museum
Dating back to the 1800s, the Eggares Olive Oil Museum has been in the Lianos family for decades. Originally a stone-built structure, the Olive Press Museum features the old tools and instruments used to produce Olive Oil. Visit the museum to see the olive oil production process and for olive oil tasting.
There is a small shop selling infused olive oils and delicacies made with olives, including Mama's renowned excellent olive bread, cake, cookies, and more. There is also an outdoor cafe here.

Fanos Beach
Fanos Beach is located on the western shores of Kefalonia, between Naxos and Amorgos. Halki Village
Also known as Chalkio, the Halki village of Naxos is located in the heart of the Tragea region. The narrow alleys of the village lined with splendid neoclassical houses speak of the long history of power and wealth this village had in Greece. If you are a connoisseur of history, you can visit the various Venetian towers and grand Byzantine churches, such as the Agios Georgios church.
While taking a promenade along the olive-lined streets, you can observe the intricate architecture, even in the residential houses and appreciate the majestic villas of the town. One of the Naxos island's most elemental buildings is the Panagia Protothrone, one of the oldest churches on the island and presents other significant frescoes of the Byzantine and post-Byzantine period. You can also take beautiful pictures of the Gratsia and Markopolitis towers during the golden hours while reading about the history associated to them. Another local gem of the village is the Vallindras distillery, which lies in the center of the town and showcases how medicine was made historically in the quaint town. It was Naxos's ancient capital and principal administrative and trade centre.

Hawaii Beach
The Hawaii beach is one of the most visited beaches in Naxos, yet it remains not very commercialized. Nestled between Kedros and Mikrolimano, the beach is distinguished by red cliffs of irregular shapes. Entirely covered with sand, the sea bed of this beach houses massive flat rocks, which can be seen through the crystal clear waters.
Hawaii beach is a nudist-friendly beach and has no services available. To reach Hawaii beach, you must leave your car parked beside the road and walk over the sand toward the ocean. Once the beach is in sight, you will have to descend using a few narrow paths dug between the cliffs.

Laguna Beach Park
Just a short distance from Naxos, Laguna Beach Park, also known as Agios Prokopios is the best place to learn windsurfing and is one of the most popular beaches. With pristine blue waters and fine sand this beach is one of the busiest and has also been awarded the Blue Flag. With steady winds and shallow waters, Laguna beach park is a safe and ideal spot for amateur windsurfers to take lessons and hone their skills further.
A windsurfing center of the same name is also available here, which provides windsurfing gear rentals. The coaches of the center are extremely friendly and experienced.

Mikri Vigla is a quaint village famous for its beaches. It houses two beaches divided by a dramatic cliff. The southern beach of Mikri Vigla is also called Sahara beach or Limanakia beach. It is an endless sandy stretch with crystalline waters, studded by a taverna and several accommodation options.
