Hal Museum or Pragati Aerospace Museum

HAL or Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Museum was opened in 2001 called Pragati Aerospace Museum in Ozar Township just outside of Nashik. Various models of aircrafts, helicopters and fighter planes are on display. There is even a mock Air Traffic Control Tower and Indian Aviation Industry on display.

Swami Brahmanand Temple is a memorial temple built in honor of the revered Swami Brahmanand. There is a cave, known as the meditation place of Swami Brahmanand for 36 years till he passed away in 1973. Swami Brahmanand was a follower of Swami Nityanand of Vajreshwari. Swami Brahmanand's 'Samadhi' or final resting place is constructed just outside the cave on his 'Asthikalash'.

Vigneshwara temple built in honor of Lord Ganesha is the main attraction of Ozar. The temple is one of the Ashtavinayaka, the eight revered shrines of Ganesha in Maharashtra. According to legends, a demon names Vighnasura was known to causes hindrances in good deeds, in order to stop him Lord Ganesha fought him. The demon surrendered in the end requesting Ganesha to take the name of Vigneshwara - the destroyer of demon. The temple was built to mark this day.
