Walking Street

The street is closed to vehicles after 6:00 PM.

Big Buddha Temple
Located just off the Pratamnak Road, Big Buddha Hill is one of the favourite spots for locals and tourists. Big Buddha Hill is a huge idol of Buddha nestled at the top of the hill serving as a sight to behold even from good distance. Also known as Wat Phra Yai, this image was installed in 1977 at a height of 300 feet. Situated about 2.5 kilometres from South Pattaya, you will notice an impressive huge gold-colour Buddha idol as you reach up close.

A pavilion hall and small distinct images of Buddha are another attraction on the hilltop. Visitors light incense sticks as a part of their prayer. Wat Yansangwararam
One of Thailand's most popular and impressive wats, Wat Yanasangwararam is a huge temple complex offering a glance into Thai design and architectural traditions. It is the largest Buddhist temple complex comprising gardens and lakes lined with attractive Chinese pavilions. Most of the buildings here were erected in honor of the Thai Royal family.
The place is an architectural splendor spread across an area of 145 acres adorning buildings of different architectural styles. Also known as Wat Yan locally, the temple's shrine stands tall on the hill reached by a flight of 299 stairs lined with naga snakes. One can see the replica of the Buddha's footprints in modop etched in the ground and much architecture of several countries. Built in a stylish yet modern Thai style, the temple holds a significant position in the area under the patronage of His Majesty The King. One can also enquire about the types of meditation courses available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The temple was established in 1976 to honor the present Supreme Patriarch, Somdet Phra Yanasangwon, and was later dedicated to King Bhumibol Adulyadej in 1988.

Wong Amat Beach
Wong Amat Beach is located in the Amphoe Bang Lamung district of Chang Wat Chon Buri province of Southern Thailand.
