Rafting in Ganga River

Rafting in the Ganga comes with a world of possibilities. The menacing river, the lush green surroundings and the adrenaline surge make for an amazing rafting experience.

A famous and holy temple of Sita Mata is located nearly 15 km from Pauri. Sita Mata Fair organized in the month of May, a small rock comes out in the land which is prayed as Goddess Sita. It remains out for three days attracting devotees in large number. The rock goes back in earth after three days marking the end of the fair. A Valmiki Temple can also be visited situated nearby.

The beautiful locales of the Pauri-Garhwal region makes for excellent trekking choices. Several treks can be embarked upon in this region, including the Binsar trek, the Tara Kund Trek and the Doodhatoli trek.
