Divers could come across colourful reef fish, nudibranchs, moray eels, stingrays, pufferfish, cuttlefish and octopus underwater. Diving sites are shallow, ranging between 10 to 12 metres deep. While the island's northern part is sheltered, the south offers many more diving sites. However, the south is more prone to sudden changes in conditions, and divers must be wary. Located at the centre of Phu Quoc, Da Ban Spring is a 30-minute car ride away from the town of Duong Dong. The stream originates from the Ham Ninh mountain range, and the area is a great site for picnics, barbecues and hikes. The flat stone plates layering on top of each other upstream make an interesting sight to watch, and the stream flows down waterfalls and forms pools while it flows.
