Wat Chalong
One of the most popular temples of Phuket, Chalong Wat is an impressive building almost always flocked with devotees and tourists. The place is adorned with about three dozen carved Buddhas, intricate gold carvings, a serpent bannister of stone and lotus ponds. It is close to the Big Buddha, and both can be visited on a single trip.
Phuket houses numerous Buddhist temples dotted across the island, but Wat Chalong remains the largest and the most striking in terms of architecture. The temple is built in the traditional style, with several buildings surrounding a five-story high main structure, all housed in the same compound. The temple complex is flanked by many small stalls selling mostly clothes, but one can also find unusual items such as orchids. Situated 8 km south of Phuket, it s the most beautiful and revered temple in the area. Also located in the temple compound is a newly established Phra Mahathat Chedi devoted to a relic of Buddha.

Chinpracha House
Baan Chinpracha or Chinpracha house is one of the eighteen Sino-colonial mansions in Phuket and is the only one open to the public. Visitors are free to explore the ground floor, two-bedroom upstairs and the kitchen; the rest of the house is closed for visitors as people still live here. The main highlights of the house are the sky lit inner courtyard (formerly with a well), indoor pond with fish and beautifully decorated flowers and also the kitchen with old-fashioned stoves, clay cooking pots and brass utensils.
The Chinpracha house, built in 1903 in the Sino-Portuguese style, gives a glimpse of the luxuries of a bygone era. With its beautiful Italian tiles, imported antique furniture, indoor pond and collection of personal items, it makes for a delightful little walk and exploration.

Freedom Beach is a pristine 300m stretch of white sand peppered with granite rocks and surrounded by lush green hills full of jungles. The unique location of Freedom Beach gives it an exceptional feel. Although it wasn't easy to access this beach earlier, it has become much simpler to go to via longtail boats nowadays.
Freedom Beach also has two mini-goals for soccer and posts for beach volleyball. Unfortunately, Freedom Beach is mostly accessible by the Longtail boat. The longtail boat season is highest during the high season, which usually is from December to June. Though both the northern and the southern tip of Freedom Island has plenty of coral reefs, the reefs on the southern side are more colourful and striking.
