Old Pokhara Bazaar
Located 4 kilometres north of Lakeside, Old Pokhara Bazaar offers travellers an experience completely different from Lakeside. This colourful bazaar sells local handicrafts and clothing, along with spices, fruits and vegetables. Buildings adorning the alleys display Newa architecture for which the Kathmandu Valley is famous. Visitors can also visit the Bindyanasini Mandir, a pilgrimage site dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati.
Rafting in Pokhara
The Upper Seti River in Pokhara is one of Nepal’s best rafting destinations for families and water sports lovers of all skill levels.
