Barda Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Located at about 15 km from Porbandar, the Sanctuary is distributed in two districts i.e. Porbandar and Jamnagar. The Sanctuary area is a green surrounded by agriculture fields, wastelands and forest and the terrain of Barda is almost hilly.
The Sanctuary exhibits great variety of fauna including variety of butterflies, Lion, Chinkara, Sambar, crocodile and chameleon, ratel, leopard, wolf, Spotted Eagle and Crested Hawk-Eagle. Of the four common venomous snakes, three are found here. It is still called as Rana Barda and Jam Barda by local people as the sanctuary was a private property of princely states of Ranavav (Porbandar) and Jamnagar. You can also enjoy trekking in Barda hills. Best time to visit the sanctuary is from November to march.

Bharat Mandir, Porbandar
About 2km from the town, Bharat Mandir also Known as India Temple showcases many sculptures, pictures and other artifacts about the Indian tradition. Located opposite to Nehru Planetarium in a garden, the temple houses stone carvings and brass reliefs of heroes from Hindu mythology on the pillars.
Bhutnath Mahadev Temple
Bhutnath Mahadev Temple is a quiet, little place where followers of the Shaivaite faith can gather to offer prayers to the God of Destruction. The lingam is considered very pious here, and devotees pay respect to it on an everyday basis as well as special occasions like Shivratri.
Bileshwar Shiva Temple
Bileshwar Shiva temple is a sacred shrine of the God of Destruction, and is revered to the neighbouring communities of Rabaris and Charans. The temple has long-nurtured folklores about it, and the origin story is rooted in a legend where Lord Krishna worships Lord Shiva here with utmost devotion, building a shrine for him. The place gets a heavy footfall on the night of Shivratri.
Chowpatty Beach
The sandy stretch of Chowpatty Beach in Porbandar is a perfect place for tourists for a lazy afternoon stroll or to sit and enjoy the blue expanse of the Arabian Sea ahead. Other than the serenity, the beach also has to offer stalls of fast food and the speciality drink, Kahwa. Flamingos, seagulls and other sea birds throng the beach throughout the day.
Darbargadh
Darbargadh is an imperial fort constructed by Rana Sartanji during his regime. The whole palatial structure features authentic Rajput style of architecture. The outer walls are fortified with four giant arch gateways, and inside there are three more. One of them, called the Darbar Bari, is an ornate one with a traditional Rajasthani jharokha, supported by four elephant statues. The palace is a must-visit owing to its grandeur and magnificence.
Daria Rajmahal
Maharaja Bhavsinhji built the Daria Rajmahal in Porbandar back in the 19th century. On his request, the architecture of the grand palace was a combination of Arabic style edifice, along with Gothic, Italian and certain Renaissance details. Once a home to the royal family, and numeours vintage European furniture, painting and artefacts, the palace is now converted into a college.
Ghumli
Once the prosperous capital of Saindhava and then the Jethwa dynasty of Sourashtra back in the 12th-13th century, Ghumli is now an important and preserved archaeological site. The village features a number of temples, historical gates and other structures built by the dynasties. Navlakha temple and Ashapura temples are a must-visit for the visitors.
Gop
Dating back to as early as 550 AD, the Gop temple of Porbandar is a peculiar culmination of numerous faiths as well as architectural styles. The remaining skeleton of the temple has hints of Dravidian, Nagar, Kashmiri as well as slight influence of the Harappan style. Inside there are motifs and inscriptions related to Hinduism and also many unidentified ones. The grand temple stands as an abode of mystery, with much still left to explore from within its ruins.

Huzoor Palace
Huzoor Palace is a grand, neoclassical structure of the early 20th century, touched with Anglican influences both in architecture and the administration. Featured with ornamental pillars and porticos, and flanked with gardens with fountains, the palace is a view to behold right at the shore of the sea. Visitors crowd in front of the palace during the Navratri festival to pay respects to the previous rulers, but are not allowed inside the palace.
