Mercedita International Airport
The Mercedita International Airport is a single runway airport in Puerto Rico serving the city of Ponce primarily. The airport was inaugurated for international flights in 1990, and is used primarily to transport people, cargo and military personnel. The airport connects the city of Ponce to the American mainland cities of Orlando and New York, with JetBlue operating scheduled flights on these routes.

The Museo de Arte de Ponce resides in almost 4,500 objects and works of art, spanning about 3,000 years. Europe, Africa and America are three regions that have heavily shaped Puerto Rico’s past. Museo de Las Americas

Located inside of the historic Cuartel de Ballajá, a former barracks for Spanish soldiers, the museum has four permanent exhibitions: Popular Arts in the Americas, African Legacy, El Indio in America, and the Conquest and Colonization, which mark the cultural evolution of what Puerto Rico is today. Noche de San Juan
Noche de San Juan is the eve before the Feast of St. John the Baptist, a popular saint in the Roman Catholic faith. Despite its religious origins, the festival is now one of the most popular party events on the island, marking the arrival of the summer solstice.
On the midnight of the festival, people visit the beaches and flip backwards into the water between 3 and 12 times, hoping to get rid of all negative energy for the rest of the year. Parque de Bombas
