Parvati Hill Temple
Brought into existence by the great Peshwa ruler Balaji Baji Rao in the 17th century, and rising to over 2,000 feet, Parvati hill offers a sweeping view of the city of Pune. It is located in the south-east part of Pune. The hill in itself brags of beautiful views away from the hustle and bustle of the city with a pleasant climate throughout the year. It serves as a shrine for several Hindu Gods- God Shiva, Goddess Parvati, God Vishnu, Goddess Rukmini and God Vitthalla, and God Vinayakar. Parvati temple, however, is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and God Shiva.
The hill is accessed by climbing 103 stone steps which were originally designed to allow elephants to ascend and descend from the hill. It doesn't take anyone longer than 10 minutes to reach the top. Resting atop Parvati hill, is a black stone structure, the Parvati temple - settled among the scattering of four other temples, the Peshwa Museum and the Parvati water tank. The Parvati temple is a daily visiting place for a number of local citizens. It is the highest point in Pune. The gates of the temple open at 5.00 am and 8.00 pm.

Pashan Lake
Pashan Lake is an artificial lake near the suburb of Pashan, situated at a distance of 12 km from the city of Pune. While there are endless places to visit in Pune, Pashan Lake has lured in many bird lovers and photographers from all over India and outside. The best time to visit the lake is during winter when the lake attracts a huge number of migratory birds.
Pataleshwar Cave Temple
Situated on the Jangli Maharaj Road in Pune, Pataleshwar Cave Temple is enshrined by Lord Pataleshwar- the God of the Underworld, who is a form of Lord Shiva. Carved out of a single magnanimous rock, this spellbinding monolithic find is located right in the heart of the city and is a revered Hindu shrine which is thronged by hundreds of devotees and pilgrims on an everyday basis. What is more, the temple has an exuberant architecture with elaborate carvings on the walls and miniature paintings. Other than Lord Shiva, the temple is also dedicated to Nandi and has idols of other Hindu gods and goddesses as well including Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshmi, Lakshman, Ganesh etc. The construction of the temple was inspired by the majestic Elephanta Caves but it was left incomplete. For the same reason, the temple has no real entrance; the only major entrance iis next to a banyan tree in the courtyard. The temple is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

Peshwa Udyan
Peshwe Udyan located right next to Saras Baug and is a popular attraction for locals where they can spend some time relaxing and reviving themselves. Prati Shirdi
Situated in Shirgaon near Pune in Maharashtra, Prati Shirdi is a replica of the Sri Sai Baba Temple in Shirdi that was built by Mr. Prakash Deole in the year 2003. Pune Okayama Friendship Garden
Welcome to the Japanese Garden in Pune. One of its kinds, the Pune Okayama Friendship Garden is the largest Japanese garden outside of Japan, in Asia. Also called the Pu. La. Deshpande Udyan, it was named after the famous Marathi writer and humorist, Pu La Deshpande who received the Padma Bhushan in 1990. This garden reflects on the Indo-Japanese relationship, as it is inspired by the 300-year old Okayama Korakuen Garden in Japan.

Purandar Fort
Situated at a distance of 50 kms from Pune, Purandar Fort is the birth place of Shivaji's son- Sambhaji. The fort has two storeys- the upper is called Balekilla while the lower is called Machi. Besides the Shiva temple, the fort offers beautiful panoramic sights of the surroundings. Purandar Fort is a famous tourist attraction and a place of historical significance near Pune. The fort has withstood several historical milestones and has been mentioned several times in the uprising of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the Maratha Empire against Adil Shahi, the Mughals and the Bijapur Sultanate. It is also identified as one of the twin forts (Purandar and Vajragad Forts) and also the place where Shivaji Maharaj's son, Sambhaji, was born.
Purandar Fort is located in the Sahyadri Mountain Ranges, at a height of 1387 feet above sea level. This fort is located to the western side of Vajragad Fort and the village located at the base of the hill is called Purandar Village. Other than its historical significance, the fort and its surroundings draw visitors in large numbers for weekend getaways, nature exploration and adventure activities.

Purandar Trek
Purandar is a fort in the Pune district of Maharashtra. Purandar and Vajragad are twin forts. Purandar is the larger of the two and is situated at a height of 4472 feet from the sea level. The top of the fort presents a very scenic view of its twin fort Vajragad.
The fort has two distinct levels. The lower part has a number of temples dedicated to the patron deities of the fort. This level also has a catholic church dating back to the 19th century, not very far from its first entry point. The upper level houses the Kedareshwar temple, which is also the highest point of the citadel. There are a pair of water tanks at the top of the hill.

Raja Dinakar Kelkar Museum
Situated on the Shukawar Peth on the Bajirao Road, Raja Dinkar Museum was established in 1962 by Baba Dinkar Kelkar in the memory of his son who died at the young age of seven. Presently managed and maintained by Department of Archaeology, Government of Maharashtra, the three storeyed museum boasts of a whopping collection of 15000 collectibles which include Mughal lamps, musical instruments, nutcrackers, Ganpati's guns, carved palace doors, excellent pottery collection, vessels made up of terracotta, copper and brass, paintings on the scenes from mythological epic Ramayana, other paintings etc. The assimilation and setting up the entire museum took almost 40 years; the museum was ready to be opened to public in 1960. All the exhibits were collected by Baba Dinkar by scaling the length and breadth of the country, some of which are valuables from the 17th century belonging to the Mughal and Maratha empires.
Soon after, the management was handed over to the government in 1962. At the time of the inauguration, the museum boasted of a collection of 20000 exhibits and artefacts. However, only 15000 of them are now on display. Among the several displays are also miniature statues of Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. But the highlight of the museum is still the exuberant replica of Mastani Mahal which was originally built in 1734. This whole room has a grandiose aura with elaborate chandeliers, artistic decor, gorgeous paintings and a vibe similar to that of the royal palace.
