Anand Prakash Ashram
Anand Prakash Ashram is a perfect sanctuary for spiritual seekers that functions on holistic, non-sectarian teachings, also known as Akhanda Yoga. The ashram was co-founded in 2007 by Yogrishi Vishvketu and provides necessary facilities, healthy environment and appropriate guidance to nourish the body and soul through Yoga.
Andhra Ashram
Andhra Ashram is a unique ashram managed and run by a bunch of South Indians in Rishikesh. It was established in 1930 and founded by Shree Sachchidananda Saraswathi. The sanctuary houses Sree Chandramouleshwara and Sree Venkateswaravari Temples and a number of south Indian festivals are celebrated at the holy abode on the foothills of the Himalayas with great enthusiasm.
Bharat Mandir, Rishikesh
Founded by Adiguru Shankaracharya in 12th century, the shrine houses Lord Vishnu carved out of a single piece of Saligram. The inner canopy of the temple contains Shree Yanthra.
The architecture and interiors of the temple has been detailed in the ancient record of Kearkhand. The present structure was reconstructed on the ruins of the original temple destroyed by Tamur. Excavations have yeilded many old statues, ancient pots and coins from this site.
