Located in Binnenrote, it is built in the shape of a horseshoe, with grey stone and glass. Art lovers just cannot miss this place. The museum began in 1859 when FJO Boijmans bequeathed his fabulous collection of art to the city of Rotterdam. The second part of the name comes from DG van Beuningen, whose collection was added to the museum in 1958.
