Palak Dil

Palak Dil, also known as Pala Tipo which is Mizo for ''swallowing lake'' is the located in Phura village in Saiha district, a few km away from the town of Saiha. It is also the largest lake in Mizoram. The location of this place in particular is pretty rich in nature given the fact that it is located in the Indo-Burma biodiversity hotspot and is in abundance of verdant environs. 130 km to the south west of the town of Saiha lies an exquisite display of biodiversity in the Palak Wildlife Sanctuary. It is situated in the Lakher region, which lies on the southern part of Mizoram. Not the biggest of wildlife sanctuaries, it is spread across 15.50 sq. km of land. This place is sanctified with all the invigorating qualities of mother nature.
