San Diego Art Institute
San Diego Art Institute is a not-for-profit institution in San Diego, California, that is an experimental bi-national modern art center. It is situated in the historic building House of Charm in Balboa Park, El Prado. SDAI is the only contemporary culture association in Balboa Park that supports the creation of innovative art by providing exclusive space for artistic competencies of Southern California and Northern Baja to fraternize, exhibit, and bloom.
Their mission is to upgrade the regional contemporary art and artists while nurturing cultural equity through providing access to meaningful art experiences. The SDAI is an 8,000 sq. ft. gallery area. Here, exhibitions are rotated every eight weeks. Curated exhibitions are organized to showcase the residing talents. SDAI believes that there's copious creative talent in the San Diego region, and that must be showcased. The artworks range from painting to photography, from modern craft to site-specific installations & new experimental works. The Institute has five holiday-closures in the year: Thanksgiving Day, Independence Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, & New Years Day.

San Diego Automotive Museum
San Diego Automotive Museum is a Museum featuring automotive culture across history, lying in Balboa Park, El Prado in San Diego, California. It was established in 1988 by San Diego Car Collectors. Today, it has developed into a museum that manifests automotive culture from throughout the globe.
The museum features rotating displays of classic cars, trucks, & motorcycles. It is a nice place for kids. The SDAM has a marvelous display of American & European vintage cars and motorcycles, including the 1931 Rolls Royce Phaeton, 1927 Bentley, and Steve McQueen's 1953 Allard. San Diego Bay
This 12-mile-long bay is the third-largest natural protected bay in California and is situated near the US-Mexico Border. It is located in the vicinity of San Diego, Chula Vista, National City, Imperial Beach and Coronado. It is of importance as it is the homeport to several aircraft carriers. There are many resorts located around the corner. There are many parks and nature preserves along the coastline which attracts visitors all year long.
