The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS), originally headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, has its 45th operating temple located near the La Jolla community in San Diego. Like other LDS churches, it was built with two spires that have made a statement by rising up to 52m’s and can be seen from afar.
