Oia's main street

Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral is a Greek church known for its beauty, detailed design, and impressive views. It is located at the bottom of Fira town. It is a prominent landmark visible from other landmarks in Santorini. In addition, the building has a lovely outside mosaic and an impressive bell tower.

Perissa Beach
Perissa black sand beach is the most popular beach in Santorini, which lies on the foot of the Mesa Vuono Mountain. It is famous for kayaking and other watersports like canoeing, windsurfing, waterskiing, banana boats, and parasailing. It also has a separate kid's playground and a gorgeous water park with three water slides. The beach has been awarded the E.U Blue Flag.
Perissa is an organised beach with lounging chairs, sunbeds, umbrellas, lifeguards on duty, and shower rooms. The middle and south parts of the beach are relatively less noisy, unlike the north. You can rent a sunbed for 10 Euros and 15 Euros near the water or get a lounger for free if dining at one of the bars and restaurants on the beach. The sand gets hot in summer, so carrying beach slippers is advisable. It is a 30-minute drive from Fira. The boardwalk makes it easier to walk from one end to the other.Snorkelling gear and water shoes are available for rent in shops on the beach. The lustrous black colour of the sand is due to the powdered volcanic rock mixed with shimmery minerals. Unlike other beaches' sand, you won't feel the powdery texture on your feet. Perissa is a cosmopolitan beach with a party environment at all times.

Perivolos Beach
Perivolos Beach is one of the longest beaches in Santorini and lies on the island's southern end. It is the most cosmopolitan beach with the best nightclubs on the island. It is a well-organised beach awarded with E.U. Blue Flag. It is popular for scuba diving and jet skiing.
Perivolos Beach is covered in black lava sand and has deep sparkling water. The entrance to the water is not rocky and has no sharp stones. Amenities like sun lounges, umbrellas, showers, lifeguards, and ball courts are available here. You can also indulge in a relaxing swim at swimming pools provided by some beach bars. Beach volleyball tournaments are organised frequently as it is a famous sport at the beach. Perivolos Beach lies between Perissa Beach and Agios Georgios Beach. The cable car takes 3-4 minutes to cover the 220 meters altitude ascend or descend and can serve up to 1200 people per hour. Skaros Rock
Skaros Rock is a large volcanic rock formation in the caldera of Santorini. It is located ahead of the village of Imerovigli. The rock is known for its hiking trail starting from Agios Georgios Church and connecting Skaros to the village. It also provides breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding area.
There used to be a fortress of Kasteli on Skaros Rock but the site has just a pile of rocks left from the ruins of it. The fortress was the principal place of the Christian congregation that was built to protect against pirate invasions. Skaros used to be the capital of Santorini in the 18th century.
