Kartepe Ski Center
Karepe Ski Center is a ski resort that is closest to Istanbul. It is located at 150 altitudes on Mount Kartepe. You need to pay a reasonable price to enter the resort and a security deposit for a ski pass. The resort has 4 lifts, and a dozen runs, so don't worry if you're a beginner, there is a range of slopes for everyone.
Ski tracks are between 400 - 3500 meters and the best time to visit is from December end to late February. Don't fret over accommodation because there's a huge, 14-story hotel with all prime facilities at the resort. There's a beautiful restaurant that serves local food to the visitors. When you get there, you can rent skiing equipment and get started with your journey on snow. Pine trees covered with snowflakes surround the mountain area offering a gorgeous view.
