Baie Lazare

Baie Lazare

A beautiful moon-shaped bay located in the southwest of the island of Mahé, the Baie Lazare is an administrative district of Seychelles, well known for its scenic islands and also for the myriad of activities that tourists can enjoy here. Located between the Kempinski Resort and the Lazare Picault Hotel Baie Lazare is named after the French explorer Lazare Picault. Due to easy bay accessibility (because of parking facilities and a bus stop nearby) the island enjoys excellent footfall throughout the year. The waters at the beach are relatively shallow, and there is plentiful shade here which offers adequate protection from the sun and makes for a perfect day out. Visitors are awestruck by the sheer beauty and the mesmerising colour-interplay of the sand and the ocean. The water here is untouched by the demonic hands of pollution and thus is turquoise blue and pristine, which contrasts beautifully with the glistening sand of the bay. Read More

About 400 kilometres south-west of the main island of Mahe, Alphonse is especially beautiful and unique due to its isolated nature and the fact that it is almost completely untouched by man-made destruction. The island has a glow that seems to be its constant companion and is made even more magical by the 16 kilometre stretch of pearly white-sand beaches which are mostly secluded and the stunning sunsets that are sure to take your breath away. Anse Cocos

Anse Cocos

Anse Cocos is one of the most beautiful beaches located on the easter side of La Digue Island, Seychelles. The C shaped beach is known for incredible golden-white sand promenades, unfiltered crystal clear waters, and shallow natural pools. These pools are ideal for expert swimming. The beach is a popular photography spot. It is accessible from Grand Anse and Anse Fourmis on foot. The closest parking facility is at Grand Anse. Anse Cocos spreads over an area of approximately half a kilometre, with boulders, striking cerulean waters and golden sands adorning the coastline. The water currents near Anse Cocos are unpredictable, and hence it is not advisable to wade far off into the water during high tide. However, you can certainly swim on the far side of the beach, where shallow pools are a natural occurrence. These protected pools are sheltered by huge granite boulders. There are palm groves on the shore and verdant forest cover on the other side. Read More

Anse Consolation

Anse Consolation

A unique beach where the water is too shallow even to bathe in, the Anse Consolation comprises rock formations, shallow pools, and sand. As a result, the beach has a unique aesthetic that is perfect for your next social media post. Uncrowded and serene, you can relax on the warm sand of the beach. The rocky outcrops protect the beach from crashing waves and turn the shore into the ideal lounging site to relax and have a few beers and watch the clouds roll by. Like most other beaches at Seychelles', Anse Consolation beach is also very accessible with a well-paved road leading right up to the beach.
