Badalgarh Fort

Badalgarh Fort

Badalgarh Fort situated in the Jhunjhunu district of the Shekhawati region was constructed under the regime of a Muslim ruler, Nawab Fazal Khan in the early 16th century. It is situated atop a hill and has lush green surroundings and an plenty of echo points to offer. It is also significant of the legendary battles that have been fought here. It was taken over by a Rajput leader Shardul Singhji in the 1730s.

Dundlod

While Nawalgarh is famous for its havelis and forts built in the 20th century, this town of Dundlod is famous for the edifices built in the 18th century. One of the most prominent forts of the town, the Dundlod Fort was built even earlier in the 16th century under the rule of the Rawal King. The fort has now been reinstated now and has been turned into a heritage hotel.
