Xinbeitou is the northernmost district of Taipei and is popular getaway from the rush of the city, most famous for it's hot springs. From Taipei main station, you take the rapid train to Beitou and from you change for Xinbeitou and as soon as you get off here, you will be in a totally different world. There is a sudden change in scenery - from the bustling city to the calm mountains.
