Chin Farm Waterfall
Also known as the Batu Ferringhi waterfall due to its connection to the Sunghai Batu Ferringhi river, the gorgeous Chin Farm waterfall is located on the island of Penang. The beautiful waterfall drops vertically down forming a small stream between the rocks at the base. There is a Chinese temple called Chin Waterfall Lam Thean Mui Temple close to this place. At the base of the waterfall is also a Chin Farmhouse offering fantastic views of Penang.
As the waterfall has clear spring water, it is often consumed by the Chin Farm for its activities. The little stream forming at the bottom of the waterfall has small fishes swimming in it. The Datuk Kong shrine at the site is where locals and tourists park their vehicles before beginning their short hike up to the alluring waterfall. There are cement steps provided for most of the hike to get to the top of the rocks. You can go for a dip in the water or just sit close by and admire the butterflies and dragonflies. This small waterfall at the edge of the jungle is a wonderful and slightly undiscovered attraction amongst the locals and tourists.
