Cal Cave
Calkoy Cave is an 8-kilometre-long cave, second the longest cave in the world. Despite this, only one kilometre of its length is open for visitors. A freshwater river flows through the cave, above and along which wooden bridges are built for tourism purposes. With around 72 rooms inside the cave, one encounters plenty of water pools, stalactites, and stalagmites. Girls Monastery
Girls Monastery, also popularly known as Panagia Keramista, is a former female monastery built during the rule of the Byzantine Empire. It was renovated multiple times over the years and took its final shape in the 19th century. A high protective wall surrounds it, and its foundation is laid on two terraces. It comprises a rock church on the south side, Kaya Church, a chapel near the entrance, and a few rooms inside.

Gulbahar Hatun Mosque
Gulbahar Hatun Mosque is named after the mother of the Ottoman conqueror of Egypt and Syria, Yavuz Sultan Salim, and was built in honor of her in 1514 AD. It is one of the most famous mosques in Trabzon. It has a unique design and is made of a magnificent combination of black and white stone.
The mosque is a religious monument, gloriously decorated with a big carpet whose design is taken after Islamic Prayer mats. The mosque has a five-section long narthex area, a harem area with a large crescent dome, and a bi-directional zawiya. The marble and vegetation decorations inside featuring a muqarnas cassette were done in the 1880s, the year it got repaired. Its architectural style matches other mosques in the classical period of the Ottoman Empire. Children usually engage in religious studies here, and the aura of the place is very peaceful.
