Hat Pak Meng

Hat Pak Meng is a crescent-shaped beach located 40 kms away from the city. It is a 5 kilometre long beach with a pine forest that fringes the beach. There are many large and small islands in the sea that look like a person lying face up in the ocean. There are many seafood restaurants where locals and visitors come and rest.

Meunram Shrine is a Chinese temple in Trang. The Meunram Shrine is a small temple which is always hazy with the incense smoke. It has a very intricate interior that is mostly hidden behind a comparatively dull front. This temple is known to sponsor the southern Thai Shadow Theatre too.

Wat Tantayaphirom or Tantauphirom temple is a big Buddhist temple. It has a huge white and gold chedi. It is known to have an interesting footprint of the Buddha. A lot of tourists come to Trang to see this. The temple is located 500 meters north of Trang station.

Located 20 kms southwest of Nha Trang, Fairy Springs waterfall is a cascade of multiple falls as the water rushes down the spring and creates 14 waterfalls, some of which are 20 metres high. Located a few kilometers south of central Nha Trang are several floating villages. Residents here make their living by fishing and fish farming.
