Within a small walking distance from the Madison Square Park, the Museum of Sex or MoSex of Manhattan was established in 5th October 2002 to chronicle the evolution of the human sexuality. It is open on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2 PM till 9 PM, on Friday from 2 PM till 10:40 PM, on Saturday from 12 noon till 10:40 PM and on Sunday from 12 noon till 10 PM. The exhibits are changed regularly and deal with everything from abortion, erotic carnival, origin of pornographic film and more. Founded in 1923, the Museum of the City of New York (MCNY) in Manhattan preserves artifacts, maps and photos from the birth of New York in the 16th century till date. Neue Galerie New York

The Neue Galerie (German for New Gallery) is one of the newest additions to New York City’s famed Museum Mile and displays the works of German and Austrian artists from the early 20th century. The New Museum of Contemporary Art on the Lower East Side of Manhattan was founded in 1977 and has around a thousand collections of various media.
