North-South lake campground
The North-South Lake Campground is situated at the eastern corner of the Catskill Escarpment, near the Catskill Forest Preserve. The North-South Lake is the largest and most sought after state campground in the Catskill Forest Preserve area, it offers an extraordinary scenic beauty that is unparalleled. There are several lakes that are found within the campground itself. The surrounding mountain areas contain many hiking trails that lead to some of the most spectacular sights, waterfalls, and historic areas, such as the Kaaterskill Falls, Alligator Rock, and the previous site of the Catskill Mountain House.
The park offers a wide range of activities such as camping, a hiking trail, state of the art playground, boating activities, fishing, a safe and clean beach to swim at, and picnicking in the beautiful outdoors. The park also offers a Junior Naturalist Program that allows the younger campers to earn a badge by finishing multiple environmental education modules to further educate the current generation on the importance of nature.The park's campsites are found to be wooded and they have tables and fireplaces. There are two beaches at which visitors can swim at and two picnic areas that are furnished with tables and fireplaces or charcoal grills so campers can enjoy their evenings with their families. Some of the amenities are restrooms with showers, firewood sales, a trailer dump station, boat rentals, and a recycling center round out the amenities.There are many things that campers can do at nearby tourist attractions as well such as visiting Hunter Mountain which is 10 miles away, and it offers a ethnic festival throughout the summer season so campers can experience the culture it offers. The nearby local towns provide restaurants, shops, and entertainment. The park also has nearby amenities such as inner-tubing, miniature golf, golf courses, go-karts, and horseback riding facilities are located within easy driving distance.

Remember the victims, the survivors, and the loss which humanity suffered due to the bomb blasts in 2001 and 1993.
To honor those 3000 people who were killed in those bombings, their names had been inscribed on the bronze parapets beside the memorial's 30 feet deep twin reflecting pond. This largest man-made waterfall (in North America) along with the memorial site is built on the actual location of the former World Trade Center. peekamoose mountain
Peekamoose Mountain Hike area, located at a 3 hour ride from central New York is quite famous for its steep and steady climbs. Along with the "Peekamoose Blue Hole" and "Table TrailHead", "Sundown Wild forest" is quite famous on social media. After a tiring hike one can enjoy a fishing session at the national forest or swim at the Peekamoose swimming hole or enjoy different cuisines at the many restaurants located nearby. There are multiple restaurants near the end of the hike. "Medicines restaurant" at Livingston manor is quite famous among visitors for its pizzas.
It is compulsory to make prior reservations at least one day ahead. There is a non refundable reservation fee of $7.25 for campsites and cabins which is included in the total order. Pets are allowed to accompany human owners but they must be properly taken care of. The area has multiple restrictions regarding waste material and noise pollution. Playing music on speaker is not allowed(you may get a ticket for $100). The entire area is protected and patrolled by Park Rangers.

Pelham course is voted as the best golf course in New York City and also the largest in the city. It is located on Shore Road in The Bronx borough of New York City.
It is 45 minutes away from Downtown Manhattan and thus can be reached by all the modes of transport. Apart from the golf course, there is a park and a lake where visitors can enjoy the scenic views and relax. If someone wants to play for the entire 18-hole area, prices may be as high as $50 during weekends. The club is pretty strict concerning dressing attire and you are expected to be in full golf attire. Bookings for tee slots are made a week before the game or a minimum of 24 hours in advance by online bookings or by calling at the course office. Sprawling over 280 acres onwen by Westchester County Government, Playland Amusement Park, also known as Rye Playland and Playland is situated by the Long Island Sound. A national historic landmark opened in 1928, it features art-deco and turn-of-the-20th century Revival architecture. Around 33.6 miles from New York City, it has a boardwalk stretching upto a quarter mile for strolling or jogging and you can enjoy a boat ride around Edith Read Wildlife Sanctuary and Playland Lake.
There are games, arcade, Playland Museum showcasing the rich history of the park and a miniature golf course that opens and closes an hour before the park does. Ice-skating, figure-skating and public skating is offered at Playland Ice. Kiddyland rides include Himalaya, Slime Bucket, Kiddy Carousel etc while family rides include Zombie Castle, Gondola Wheel and House of Mirrors. There are adrenaline-surging thrill rides like Wipeout, Thunderbolt, Dragonator, The Plunge and Sky Flyer. Admission is free for residents of Westchester but all-day access wristbands are required.
